1. How do I take an appointment with Doctor Dewast?

By calling the appointment office at the BUPA Cromwell Hospital 0207 460 57 00

2. When will I get the results of my tests?

The results of all the tests are sent first to Doctor Dewast who will post them to you with her comment.

For most of the tests, you will get your results within a week or even quicker for ultransound examination or mammogram.

On mutual agreement Doctor Dewast can call you or email you.

3. How do I pay?

I pay on the day of the appointment directly to Doctor Dewast, preferably by cheque or by cash.

Tests are also paid on the day of the appointment at the reception of the Hospital by the method of your choice (card, cheque or cash)

4. How can I be refunded?

If you have a private insurance or "la caisse des Français de l’étranger" check with them the level of refund and remember to bring the questionnaire to fill in on the day of the appointment.

If you have the insurance Welcare, bring your card. You just need to pay £10 for the consultation.

5. If you cannot come to your appointment?

Please be kind enough to notice the Cromwell Hospitall 0207 460 57 00 at least 24h in advance Otherwise you risk to make another person who may need it urgently lose her appointment. This could be your case one day. Think about it. The appointment can also be charged to you.

6. Out of hours :

Doctor Dewast can be reached on her mobile phone. If she is not available there will be a message telling you what to do in case of emergency – or you can leave a message and she will return your call.

In case of long absence (holidays), the appointment office at the BUPA Cromwell Hospital can refer you to another doctor recommended by Doctor Dewast.
